Can you educate yourself for free without attending a college or university? Yes, you can. You can also educate yourself for free or for very little money without ever having to set foot on a college campus. College costs can be very expensive even after financial aid, grants and work studies are considered. Some people just cannot afford college. There is however a few down sides to educating yourself for free. You will not get a degree certificate, you will not have the “college experience” and you will have to work to prove yourself to potential employers.
